ABOUT SUPER CRAYON KIDS

In 2014, The Super Crayon Kids organization was created by a group of Gorrie Elementary students in Tampa, Florida. They were inspired by another group in Glen Ellyn, Il who also helps recycle items for the community.

The mission of our founders was to create crayons for kids with disabilities and special needs. Used and broken crayons which were destined for a landfill are melted and recreated into larger, fun shapes that are easier to hold.

For over seven years, Super Crayon Kids have provided "super crayons" to schools, hospitals, and to children who enjoy adding color to life.
